So, what’s been happening?

Its been so long since the last post! There’s been a lot of changes at work, and in general, have been busy over the weekends.

The weather has changed considerably, and I have been suffering from a cold and runny nose on and off for the last 2 weeks! Its been chilly in the mornings, and for once, the suits I wear to work serve the more fundamental purpose of wearing them!

Morning Fog
It was about 9am, look at the fog!

During lunch hours, now most people prefer sitting outside, with hardly anyone sitting inside in the air-con. It’s actually pleasant, but I’m still hoping the stupid flu goes away soon, so I can enjoy this… the weather is only going to get colder! It also gets dark much earlier, around 5pm!

Oh, and there was a Diwali that came and went, and we managed to celebrate it a bit, we even lit diyas!

As to the rest of the stuff, well, we went to some more malls (yeah, there are more, it seems!). Considering that the shops inside malls are essentially all the same, Dubai malls make it a point to differentiate between each other, from the outside. Here are some from Wafi city mall.

Reflections
The reflections gave a good photo-op!

From the outside
Raffles Hotel (yes, the same one from Singapore)
at Wafi from the outside, looks grand!

And the Egyptian theme
Egyptian theme, even grander!

And then there are some other images from elsewhere in Dubai!

yeh.. read about the fog & there was an amazing photo which made me think that if your office level was above the fog, it would have been an amazing view. Should be glad its not the Haze.

Wow, that was some fast commenting! :P My office is at lower floor, the IT dept guys are at around 30th floor in another building, so they should have some view!

Also, there are many accidents that happen during these fog days, cos the drivers still maintain their ‘normal’ speeds, dun care fog or not!

The fog disappears in like seconds, its amazing to see!
