Rainy Day in Dubai
After all, this happens only for a few days a year. Compare that to Singapore or Trivandrum, where you can spend days hoping for some sunshine…!
Surprisingly, it was declared a public holiday today, due to Mr. Bush’s visit. No, not out of respect, but because all the major roads are closed for security reasons. He’ll probably go back thinking it rains here all year round!
That gives me a chance to update this blog, which has been silent for most of the last few months! Read on…

Its raining like mad these few days in Singapore as well. Even armed with a huge umbrella or rain boots, you can still get drenched.
