Until very recently, I was an absolute novice in SLR photography, and as with any newly acquired hobby (read “craze”), I have been reading up on it, and clicking away.

I now own a Nikon D40 DSLR Camera (with 18-55mm AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor kit lens), and a 18-200mm AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor f/3.5-5.6G VR lens. I think that makes a great combination, and the zoom range of the 18-200 allows me to not need constant lens changes. And the kit lens is itself pretty darn good!
